Welcome - What is the AABC?
Welcome to the Architects Accredited in Building Conservation (AABC), where our dedication to preserving historical architecture shines through. As a not-for-profit accreditation body, we bring together knowledgeable conservation architects to protect our architectural heritage from misguided interventions.
Through meticulous assessments by peers and client-focused lay assessors, we ensure that only architects celebrated for their expertise in conservation and adaptation are allowed onto our register.
We believe in making the safeguarding of our architectural legacy accessible to all, so we offer free access to our register. Our self-financed model guarantees sustainability, with applicant fees directly supporting administrative expenses like website maintenance and assessments.
Join us in our mission to preserve history, where professionalism and passion converge in the pursuit of architectural excellence.
