AABC Online Application System

These are the instructions for Architects. Please check back here regularly for updates, as the system and process will be evolving based on feedback and testing.

Logging In

  1. If you already have login details for the system, go to http://www.aabc-register.co.uk/portal-new/apply, enter your login details into the form, then click the Login button.
  2. If you have login details but have forgotten your password, click the Forgot Password link that's below the login form and follow the on-screen instructions to reset your password.

Creating an Account

  1. If you don't already have login details, you will need to create a new account. Go to http://www.aabc-register.co.uk/portal-new/apply and create an account using the Create a New Account button.
  2. Enter your details and click Create Account. You will then be logged into your new account.

Changing your Password

  1. If you wish to change your password, you can do this once logged into the portal by going to the Change Password page.
  2. You will need to enter your Current Password, New Password, Confirm New Password, then click the Change Password button. Your password will now be changed.

Completing Your Architect Details

  1. When you first login, you will need to complete your architect details before being able to proceed with your initial application. To do this, click the Complete My Architect Details button. Note that you will have to re-enter your password in order to save changes to this form.
  2. If you wish to save your progress and come back later, click the Save Changes button. When you are ready to submit the form, click the Submit Form button.

Creating an Initial application

  1. Once you have submitted your architect details, you can start your application by clicking the Create an Initial Application button.
  2. You don't have to complete the application in one sitting and can choose to save your progress. To do this click the Save Changes button.
  3. When you are ready to submit your application, click the Submit Form button.
  4. You will only be able to submit the form when all the mandatory fields have been filled in correctly. If there's any issues, you will see validation error messages at the top of the page and you will have to fix any issues before being able to submit the form.
  5. AABC will contact you if there any issues with your application.

5 year Re-accreditation

  1. Login to the portal using the Logging In instructions above.
  2. When you login you will be asked to complete your architect details (if they're not already complete) before proceeding (see Completing Your Architect Details instructions above).
  3. Once you have submitted your architect details, you can start your application by clicking the 5 Year Re-accreditation link the table.
  4. You don't have to complete the application in one sitting and can choose to save your progress. To do this click the Save Changes button.
  5. When you are ready to submit your application, click the Submit Form button.
  6. You will only be able to submit the form when all the mandatory fields have been filled in correctly. If there's any issues, you will see validation error messages at the top of the page and you will have to fix any issues before being able to submit the form.
  7. Once you have submitted the form, your application will be locked and you won't be able to edit further, so please make sure you are definitely ready to submit.
  8. AABC will contact you if there any issues with your application.
