We are delighted to announce that the AABC Conference 2026 will take place at the restored Maison Dieu in Dover, a historic landmark at the heart of the town.

We are delighted to announce that the AABC Conference 2026 will take place at the restored Maison Dieu in Dover, a Grade I listed William Burges building and recipient of an AABC Civic Trust Conservation Award, supported by Haverstock and Rena Pitsilli-Graham Architect.

This year’s theme, Community and Civic Pride, will explore the vital role conservation professionals play in shaping places that people feel connected to and proud of.

Set within a significant heritage building in Dover, the conference will bring together experts and practitioners in the care, repair, and conservation of historic environments.

Through engaging talks and discussions, we will consider how conservation supports not only the preservation of historic fabric but also the strengthening of communities and civic identity.

Join us for a day of insight, knowledge-sharing, and networking in a unique historic setting.

The conference is open to both members and non-members of the AABC Register.

Full agenda to be announced shortly.

Use of AABC Logo
It has come to our attention that some members are using the AABC logo on their websites and practice branding. AABC’s long-standing policy is that the logo is for use by the Association only, not by individual members.

Membership of AABC is awarded to individuals, not practices. As such, the AABC logo should not be used on company websites or marketing materials.

We have added a page to the AABC website clarifying this policy: Use of AABC logo

A more appropriate way to highlight your membership is within the personal biography of the individual on your “About Us” page. You may also use the post-nominals AABC or CAABC and refer to your accreditation in supporting text.

This approach is consistent with organisations such as the Ecclesiastical Architects and Surveyors Association (EASA).

If you are using the AABC or the EASA logo on your website or marketing materials we kindly ask that it is removed at the earliest opportunity.
