1: I would like a mentor
The mentorship programme aims to connect you with a mentor who is AABC accredited and who will be responsible for supporting you in developing the appropriate conservation experience.
The role of the AABC is to monitor your progress annually and provide you with feedback on the next steps regarding a future application to become accredited.
Once you feel confident to apply, a full submission can be made.
This Mentorship programme will take place over a period ranging from one year to a maximum of four years, depending on your current experience.
2: I would like help compiling my case studies ready for a full application
If you will have completed 5 projects within the next 12 months and would like to apply for membership of the AABC but don’t know where to start with your case studies. This route is for you. A mentor will guide you in compiling your 5 case studies ready for submitting your full application.
3: I would like someone to check my case studies before applying
This is the route if you are unsure, you meet the criteria for accreditation and would like to submit your case studies for informal review prior to submission of your full application. This route ensures that the case studies meet the guidelines required for a submission.
It does not assess the content; it checks if it meets the criteria for submission.
