Charlotte Robinson

Charlotte is a conservation-accredited architect based in Oxford and an Associate at Purcell, a leading practice renowned for its work in the heritage sector. She specialises in historic buildings and environments, with a focus on the cultural, educational, and ecclesiastical sectors, and is the national lead for the Places of Worship sector at Purcell. Charlotte combines historical sensitivity with thoughtful, context-driven design, and has experience working on highly complex Listed Buildings and Scheduled Ancient Monuments.

Her clients include the University of Oxford, several Oxford colleges, the Church of England, the National Trust, and Historic Royal Palaces amongst others. In 2021, Charlotte was appointed Winchester Cathedral Architect, a role in which she is responsible for guiding the conservation, care, and development of the cathedral and its surrounding precinct. She currently serves on the Oxford Diocesan Advisory Committee for the Care of Churches and is a member of the Oxford Design Review Panel. Charlotte also holds a postgraduate certificate in Architectural History from the University of Oxford.
