Eleanor McEvedy
I am an experienced conservation-accredited architect; registered as Category A – ‘Architect knowledgeable and experienced in the conservation of historic buildings, engaged in executive direction of projects of conservation work’.
As a conservation professional with extensive experience of conservation, repairs and new works in a historic context, I have worked on a wide range of listed buildings, ecclesiastical buildings, monuments and commercial buildings; including the repair of medieval ecclesiastical structures, repair to commercial properties and numerous buildings identified as being 'at risk'.
For over 15 years I worked as an Historic Building Architect at Historic England (then English Heritage). Here, I was involved in the repair of a wide range of historic buildings.
I undertake numerous QIs a year on highly graded churches either I or II* in Leicester, Lincolnshire & Peterborough Diocese.
I have extensive experience of working and liaising on NHLF grant aided schemes, Historic England grants and Heritage Townscape Initiatives.
I am able to perform the role of Principal Designer as well as Project Architect.
