Kate Holt

Kate has a keen interest in both maintaining and repurposing historic buildings for the future and utilises her experience and skills to inform proposals which marry conservation with modern design and comforts.

Recent projects include extensive repair, sensitive reconfiguration and refurbishment to a number of listed, high-end residential properties, the in-depth analysis, repair and rejuvenation of a 335 acre, historic, agricultural estate within a UK national park, and providing heritage assessment and consultancy works to various religious buildings and cultural projects currently seeking Heritage Lottery Funding. Kate is also the appointed architect to the Church of St. Philips, Osmondthorpe and has prior experience in refurbishment and maintenance of historic and listed buildings for both hospitality and educational purposes.

As Senior Project Surveyor/Architect for The Landmark Trust, Kate oversees the careful repair of significant historic buildings, to provide conservation led holiday lets for wider enjoyment.

Beyond practice, Kate continues to champion historic architecture as a member of Leeds Modernist Society, Leeds Civic Trust and SPAB Yorkshire.
